Too many, a vacation at Seaside means enjoying long, lazy days and soaking up the sun on the beach. But, if you can tear yourself away from the beach, you will find that Seaside Recreation & Activities makes sure you have a lot of other fun and exciting things to do. The choice is yours.
There are three large swimming pools and two toddler pools. Two of the large pools are family oriented, including one that is covered and heated in winter. The third pool offers a more tranquil atmosphere for adults only. There are six tennis courts. At the Pro Shop, you can arrange to participate in community competitions as well as reserve and rent equipment for horseshoes, shuffleboard, and Seaside s world-class croquet lawn. P nque, the French version of bocce, is played twice daily, at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the green in front of The Seaside Interfaith Chapel on Forest Street. Newcomers are welcome. It is a great way to make new friends.
